DBCS was built by providers who know firsthand the challenges of insurance billing and credentialing. Founded by Jimmy and Rachel Gross, DBCS is part of the Desta Family of Organizations, which also includes Desta Therapy and Desta Provisions — all united by a mission to strengthen healthcare, mental health, and community well-being.
Their journey began internationally through nonprofit work in Ethiopia and Jordan, where they served vulnerable children and families. After returning to Texas, they established Desta Therapy and expanded their nonprofit into Desta Provisions to make counseling more affordable and accessible. Facing the same billing and credentialing frustrations as many providers, they built an in-house team of experts that grew into DBCS.
