Welcome to Desta Billing & Credentialing Services (DBCS). By accessing or using our website, services, or resources, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with DBCS for billing, credentialing, or related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
2. Services Provided
DBCS offers Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), insurance billing, credentialing, enrollment, benefits verification, preauthorizations, virtual front desk, and practice support. Services are tailored to individual providers and organizations as outlined in client agreements.
3. Client Responsibilities
Provide accurate, up-to-date information required for billing and credentialing.
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
Review and approve claims, credentialing documents, and payer contracts before submission.
Maintain professional liability insurance where applicable.
4. Ownership of Credentials & Data
All credentials, contracts, and payer agreements remain the property of the provider or practice. DBCS does not own or retain control over NPIs, CAQH profiles, or payer relationships.
5. Fees & Payment Terms
DBCS charges transparent fees as outlined in your service agreement.
Payment terms are due as specified in the contract (e.g., monthly, per claim, or project-based).
No hidden charges or revenue sharing applies unless explicitly stated in writing.
6. Confidentiality & HIPAA Compliance
DBCS is HIPAA-compliant and adheres to strict confidentiality standards. All client and patient information is protected under applicable laws and privacy regulations.
7. Limitation of Liability
DBCS will make every reasonable effort to ensure accurate and timely billing/credentialing.
However, we are not liable for delays or denials caused by third-party payers, incomplete client data, or regulatory changes.
In no event shall DBCS be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services with written notice in accordance with the signed agreement. Upon termination, DBCS will return all client-owned records, documents, and data.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to Terms
DBCS reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
